Summerhill & Yonge/St Clair

About Summerhill & Yonge/St Clair

Summerhill is home to a variety of housing types and styles, ranging from 19th Century Victorian row houses to modern townhomes, and from large, single-family residences to condominium buildings.

Situated along Yonge St., with Yorkville on its southern boundary and the Yonge/St. Clair neighbourhood to the north, Summerhill has become a popular urban, yet still a relatively quiet neighbourhood. The streets running east and west of Yonge are lined with trees that shade residents’ homes.

This section of Yonge Street is dotted with a variety of shops, restaurants, and other services, and is well served by the Summerhill subway station on the Yonge Street line, which whisks local residents downtown, to Toronto’s business and entertainment districts in minutes. Cyclists and joggers enjoy the Beltline Trail and the expansive parkland of the Rosehill Reservoir.
