LAWRENCE PARK

“The Park” is an area characterized by homes in a variety of styles, including English Cottage, Tudor Revival, Georgian, and Colonial. Many houses have been renovated or rebuilt, or are relatively new, having replaced the original properties on the lots, over the course of the past 100 years.

Among the most charming elements of this neighbourhood are the quiet, gently sloping and winding streets that lie between the neighbourhood’s eastern boundary of Bayview Avenue and its western end, at Yonge Street.

LAWRENCE PARK

Although the land for this upscale North Toronto neighbourhood was assembled in 1907, it wasn’t until the 1950s that Lawrence Park was completely developed, progress having been interrupted by two world wars, a recession, and the Great Depression.

LAWRENCE PARK

The shops and businesses along Yonge Street, north and south of Lawrence Avenue, provide everything that the residents of Lawrence Park and other nearby neighbourhoods might need. The Lawrence subway stop on the Yonge Street line makes getting downtown or uptown a snap.
